Laser strike during flight, now what?

The FAA just published a press release highlighting the fact that laser strike reports are on the rise. This year's reports so far already exceed to entire year's total for last year.

So the question is, what to do in the event you do have a laser strike (From AC 70-2A):

AOPA recently published an article on this topic too. The FAA does go after people shining lasers at aircraft, so if you do have a laser strike make sure you report it through the proper channels. Feel free to share your experiences with laser strikes below, especially if you have first hand experiences.
