Not looking to make anything difficult for ATC, etc., but wondering about getting out to give the aircraft some much needed exercise. Will this be overly burdensome during this time or are many pilots doing the same. Planning to only fly alone in the aircraft. Honestly, I'm just looking for a response from AOPA staff and not a bunch of comments from individual pilots. Thanks.
I flew into KBWI and I got permission to do a low fly-by since most airports are being used now for parking planes and for cargo ops you should be fine flying! Happy Flying!
I've been flying weekly - the airports have been pretty quiet. I fly solo - which is the ultimate in social distancing. It's important to me for my proficiency and the health of the plane to fly as much as possible.
