How Do Flying Clubs Differ from Other Forms of Co-Ownership?
AOPA Staff Answer
Flying clubs are non-profit social organizations that are recognized by the FAA and IRS as organizations servicing their members only. Whereas co-ownership implies cost sharing between 2-3 owners.
