I am Planning 2300 mile trip from KOKV to L00, 150 miles per leg, no more than 5 hours flying time a day. I am not the camping type. How do you select airports to land at that have a way to get to and from a hotel, meals, replenish food supplies?
It doesn't look like the US is going to be opening up anytime soon. So what are some ideas for finding an airport where I can get food and drink supplies for the next day's flight, breakfast and dinner meals, transportation to and from the airport to the hotel and food/water replenishment?
Do I just use the AOPA airport info and internet and start calling each airport FBO and local hotels? I see most hotels, if they are not near a major airline serviced airport do not list airport shuttles, and I don't want to get stuck at an airport where the courtesy car is unavailable.
How does everyone else handle multi day trips at multiple airports?
Thanks!

Call the FBOs at the airports you are considering. They will know which hotels and other facilities are convenient, and what transportation is available. Also, don't count on a courtesy car being available to take overnight -- ask about that when you call the FBO. For example, here at SBY, the FBO folks will tell you they have a courtesy car for lunch (along with suggestions on where to eat), but not overnight, but the Hampton Inn in Fruitland (and ONLY the Fruitland Hampton Inn, not the one in Salisbury) will pick you up for overnight stay.
