Well I read the details of the SFAR and it seems to have some interesting limitations.  Because AOPA has the experts and lawyers to interpret the SFAR I sent my comments to them to see if I have it right rather than airing them here publicly.

Glad the FAA is issuing the SFAR and also glad I had my Flight Review last week so that I do not have to be limited by the provisions of the SFAR.

Eagerly awaiting AOPA analysis!

It's only 73 pages of legalese -- AOPA's folks ought to have that done overnight, by golly!

Well actually the actual SFAR language is only 24 pages at the end.  The preceding language is background, discussion, etc. which is typical of new legal releases.
