I am currently planning a trip to St Croix in the spring.
I'm assuming that the USVI follows the same rules as the US and I understand that the Bahamas accept Basic Med but we would like to stop in Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos on the way.
Would a Basic Med be acceptable there or will I have to get a Third Class Medical.
Any information would be appreciated.
Stephen.

Be prepared to have your FCC radio licenses checked in Providenciales -- BTDT.
Hello Stephen,
The only countries that have accepted BasicMed are the Bahamas and Mexico. If you want to make a stop in Turks and Caicos you will need to have a FAA medical.
