Seeking Assistance - Boeing 727-100

Hello,

I am currently writing a paper for an academic journal about the unsolved DB Cooper hijacking of a Northwest Orient 727 out of Portland, OR in 1971. Rather than focus on the salacious details of the hijacking, I am approaching the case from an aeronautical point of view.

I am looking for someone who could answer questions pertaining to the Boeing 727-100 along with other aviation issues.

If you are interested, please let me know below or you can message me.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, George. Thank you very much. Would it be possible ot contact you by email?
I was a flight engineer for NWA after they got rid of the -100s.  We were flying the 200s with -7, 9, 11, 13, & 15 engines.  Not near as much experience as George but can give you what I can remember from the NWA perspective.  Dave Jones
