"ForeFlight Long Cross Country Flight Planning: Destination AirVenture Oshkosh!" with Mike Jesch & Brian Schiff
1
Michael Jesch and Brian Schiff will plan and execute a long-distance multi-day cross country flight to Oshkosh using ForeFlight. Captain Mike has flown to Oshkosh, WI most years since 2006, and for the last several years, has exclusively used iPad apps to accomplish this flight. Mike and Brian will analyze how this critical tool is used as an essential element of safety to  execute long flights of this nature successfully. The class will cover the pre-flight and in-flight usage, including last-second diversions enroute, and critical decision making and problem solving "on the fly."
