For the purposes of this discussion - I don't want it to degenerate into a “The FAA should allow it”.
I'm working on the well-advertised view and advice that while many states may have legalized marijuana for recreational use - flying is a federal matter and at a Federal level it is still illegal.  Thus “Flying under the Influence” is a bust.

Wondering how this affects the following scenario:

In a state where recreational marijuana is legal - there is a large public event / ...

If I take off on Monday and land on Tuesday, which day should I use for the logbook?   It would only matter, I suppose, for meeting the currency requirements.

 
Hello follow members. I'm new to this site as well as learning to fly. Having recently retired I'm moving forward on a dream I had little time for in my working life. Interesting question that came through the Pilot Information Center, wanted to see what the group's opinion was.

Here's the question: I did the flight portion of a flight review last month with a client, we completed the ground portion today. What date do I put on the endorsement?
*for examples sake we can say the flight was conducted on 02/07 and the ground was completed today (03/03) .

One answer would be to sign them off the day that all the requirements were complete ...
